Where wild lives are given a second chance.

Wildside cares for 1,200–2,000 sick, injured, and orphaned wild animals every year — and teaches Michigan to live in harmony with them.

OUR MISSION

Care. Rehabilitate. Release.

WildSide Rehabilitation and Education Center is a Michigan 501(c)3 nonprofit devoted to the care and treatment of injured, ill, and orphaned wildlife — and returning them, healthy, to their natural habitats.

Alongside our clinic work, we run outreach programs that promote a peaceful coexistence and deep respect between the public and Michigan's wild neighbors.

WHY IT MATTERS

Every Rescue Gives Wildlife a Second Chance

Licensed Wildlife Rehabilitation

Providing expert care for sick, injured, and orphaned Michigan wildlife every day

Not Open to the Public

Our facility is a working wildlife hospital and remains closed to visitors to protect recovering animals.

Wildside Wildlife Rehabilitation provides professional care for Michigan's sick, injured, and orphaned wildlife. Every animal brought to our licensed rehabilitation center receives compassionate treatment with one goal in mind—returning healthy wildlife back to its natural habitat whenever possible.

Because our patients require a quiet, low-stress environment for recovery, our facility is not open to the public. Community members play an important role by safely bringing wildlife in need to our rehabilitation center and supporting the care that makes recovery possible.

Returning Wildlife to the Wild

Our mission is to rehabilitate native wildlife and release healthy animals back into their natural habitats whenever possible

Community Support Matters

Every rescued animal depends on donations, volunteers, and compassionate people who bring wildlife to us for professional care.
